How do I become verified?

    We verify all providers that advertise on Tryst.link before their profiles are published. We know that sharing your information with us requires trust and we work hard to ensure we earn it, which is why we have detailed information about how we secure your data. Our support team are also available to answer any questions you might have.

    How do you keep my data safe?

    What information is required?

    Two things are required to become verified on Tryst.link:

    1. A verification photo. This ensures that your profile is really yours, and that we can help you recover your account if you ever need to.
    2. Proof of age. Tryst.link is an adult platform for adult users. We need to verify that all providers on the platform have valid ID showing proof of age.

    NOTE: We can not accept verification or proof of age photos that have any modification applied, including image edits, filters of any kind, and screenshots. If you're using an app or device that applies filters automatically, please make sure none are active when you take your verification photo.

    Make sure you carefully read the instructions on the verification page and proof of age page before submitting your profile for verification. If you're asked to resubmit, verification will take longer — ensuring you meet all the requirements now will help you get approved as quickly as possible.

    Verification photo

    Your verification photo is used to match you against the photos you add to your profile. It also helps us confirm you are the legitimate account owner if you ever need help recovering your account. For example, you may lose access to your two-step verification app and need to get in touch.

    This photo must:

    • Be a photo of you holding a paper sign with the requested information shown on it. Make sure to follow the directions shown on the verification page carefully — these may be updated from time to time. Ideally, your photo should include you from at least the waist up to the top of your head, like the example image below.
    • Be written on physical paper with a blue or black pen or sharpie. Please don’t use lipstick, eyeliner, or write on easily torn materials like tissues. This makes it very difficult for our team to read and approve your sign. We can’t accept signs written on a digital surface like iPads or other tablets, including eInk displays.
    • Be clear, unedited, and clearly show that you are the one holding the paper. We should be able to see your arm, and confirm that it is connected to your body. The lighting should be good enough for us to recognise you, and for your camera to take a clear photo.
    • Show your face. We know this is a big ask. Your verification photo will never be shown publicly — we need it to make sure that you are in control of your profile.
    • Remove glasses or lenses. Unless you have a medical exemption, you must remove glasses, lenses, or any other items that cover part of your face before taking this selfie.
    • Be unedited. Please don't edit or modify your photo in any way, including stickers, filters, text, and mirroring. Don’t worry if you take the photo using a mirror —  we can flip it when reviewing it!
    • Be written in English. English is Tryst.link's official language. Please write your sign in English, so our team can confirm what it says.


    Proof of age

    Tryst.link is an adult platform. We require proof that you are over 18, and over the age of majority. Our verification process requires:

    • A valid, government issued photo ID. This can be a driver's license, passport, citizen card, travel card, or similar. It needs to clearly show your name, your date of birth, a photo of you, and the body that issued it. Apart from passports, all other photo ID must be issued in the country you've set as your Tryst.link home base.
    • A physical form of ID. We cannot accept digital IDs — you must be holding your ID in one of the required photos.
    • The ID must have at least 30 days' validity remaining. We cannot accept expired IDs, even if that expiry happened recently.
    • Remove glasses or lenses. Unless you have a medical exemption, you must remove glasses, lenses, or any other items that cover part of your face before taking your ID selfie. 
    • Be unedited. Please don't edit the photo of your ID in any way. We can always flip photos taken with a mirror on our end.
