To become verified on Tryst.link as a provider, the first step you need to complete is photo verification. To do this, you need to submit a photo of yourself, holding a handwritten paper sign with your details. We match this against the photos on your profile to help confirm that your profile is really yours and to confirm that you’re the real account owner if you ever need help recovering your account.

Requirements for photo verification
You need to hand-write a sign on physical paper, and then take a photo of yourself holding it. A mirror photo is fine; we can flip it during review.
Your sign must:
- Show your name, the email address you used to sign up, today’s date, and the text “I am signing up for Tryst.link”.
- Be written on physical paper. Avoid easily torn material like tissue. We can’t accept signs written on a digital surface, such as tablets or eInk displays.
- Be written in blue or black pen (e.g Sharpie). Avoid lipstick, eyeliner etc.
- Be written in English, so our team can confirm what it says.
Your photo must:
- Clearly show that you’re holding the paper. We should be able to see your arm, connected to your body.
- Be an unedited photo of you holding the handwritten paper sign. Ideally, include yourself from the waist up to the top of your head, including your torso and ensuring that the sign is not covering most of your torso.
- Have no stickers, filters, or digitally added text.
- Be clear and well-lit, so we can recognise you and read your sign clearly.
- Show your face. Your verification photo is never shown publicly.
- Have nothing covering your face. Remove sunglasses, tinted glasses, or bulky frames. Remove face coverings like masks or balaclavas. Make sure hair, scarves, cowls, hats, or high collars are not covering any part of your face.

Next steps
When you’ve submitted your photo, you’ll move on to the next step. This could be either standard age verification (for most countries) or third-party age verification (if you’re signing up from an IP address in Germany). You then need to complete your profile so that it meets our profile requirements.
