Age verification is the second step to becoming verified as a provider on Tryst.link. In most countries, this means you’ll complete standard age verification.
Signing up from Germany? This article doesn’t apply to you. You need to complete third-party age verification instead.
Tryst.link is a platform by sex workers, for sex workers. To become verified as a provider on Tryst.link, you need to provide proof that you’re over 18. We call this standard age verification, and it’s a requirement that our payment processor has for adult websites. To complete this step, you need to submit a photo of yourself holding your government-issued ID, as well as photos of the front and back of your ID.
A member of our team reviews these manually to confirm your age, and we delete these photos once this process is complete.
Requirements for standard age verification
You’ll need to provide three photos of your ID. Your ID must be a physical, government-issued ID with at least 30 days validity remaining. Unless you’re using a passport, the ID must be issued in the country you have set as your Tryst.link home base.
The photos must be:
1. A selfie of you holding your ID
A mirror photo is fine; we can flip it during review.
This photo must:
- Be clear and unedited
- Show your face clearly
- Show your entire head, shoulders arm and hand – so that we can see you're holding your ID

2. A photo of the front (photo side) of your ID
The front side is the side your photo appears on, usually along with
your name, date of birth, and document details. If your ID looks like a
book or passport, this is the photo page. You need to show both the
photo page and the facing page. That is, we should be able to see the
whole open document, as shown in the example. This photo must be clear
and unedited, with all text fully readable. Please don’t cover any
details with your fingers, or we won’t be able to verify you.

3. A photo of the reverse (other side) of your ID
The reverse is the other side of your ID. In most cases, there is no
photo on this side. If your ID looks like a book or passport, this is
the entire cover, front and back, as shown in the examples. As above,
this must be clear and unedited, with all text fully readable.

Acceptable forms of ID
The most common forms of photo ID that we accept are:
- Driver's license
- Passport
- Citizen/travel card
If you don’t have any of the above, we may be able to accept alternatives. Your ID must:
- Be issued by a government body that we can clearly identify from the document. This can include state or federal government agencies. Private industry cards are not acceptable.
- Be verifiable against acceptable standards.
- Include a photo of you, an expiry date, your date of birth, and your name.
- Be a physical document. We can’t accept digital IDs. Generally we can’t accept paper or temporary forms of ID.
- Be the final document. We can’t accept interim ID documents or excerpts.
- Be valid for at least 30 more days. We can’t accept expired ID.
- Be issued in the country you’ve set as your home base on Tryst.link.
In general, if your ID document can be used to prove your age when purchasing alcohol, we can probably accept it.
Next steps
Once we’ve reviewed your submissions, you’ll receive an email either confirming that your age has been verified, or asking you to change your photos and resubmit, outlining the reasons why we could not approve your submission.
Once you’ve successfully completed both photo verification and age verification, as well as your profile, and all your submissions have been reviewed and approved, you will be able to post your profile on Tryst.link.
