Note: We recently (October 2026) changed the provider that processes our credit card payments, from Cardinity to Novatti. This means that while you could previously purchase TLC using USD or EUR, we can now only accept AUD.
All credit card transactions will be processed by Novatti from 14 October 2026, and you may see Novatti during the payment process already.
This change means you may notice a different payment provider name during payment and a different merchant name on your card statement. You may also see different payment error messages depending on your bank and the payment provider.
What currency do I use to pay on Tryst.link? Are there any additional fees?
When you buy TLC by credit card on Tryst.link, payments are made in AUD and processed as an international transaction for customers outside Australia.
If you use a different currency, your bank or card provider will convert the payment into your local currency. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee.
How is the exchange rate calculated?
1 TLC is equivalent to 1 Euro (EUR). The AUD price is calculated using the current market AUD/EUR exchange rate.
How will the purchase appear on my credit card statement?
The merchant name will appear as “A4 Services”, “Assembly Four” or similar. Previously, it appeared as “Hive Labs OU”. The merchant name that appears on your statement is determined by your bank. If you have concerns about identifying the transaction on your bank statement, there are alternative ways to pay, such as Bitcoin, or via our TLC Donation Matching Program.
What if I have a problem with my transaction?
Because payments on Tryst.link are international transactions for customers outside Australia, your bank or card provider may occasionally flag them for additional authorisation.
See I have a problem with my order for more information on common issues and error codes you might encounter with your transaction.
