What happens if I stop using my account?

We hide your profile

If you haven’t logged into Tryst for a set period of time (90 days by default), we’ll hide your profile from public view to protect your privacy.

When you edit your profile, you can change this period of time. You will be able to republish your profile or reset the timer by logging in.

We’ll send you an email at least 14 days before your profile is hidden.

We mark your account as inactive

We consider accounts inactive if they meet two criteria:

  • The most recent Tryst Love Credit was purchased or issued over 12 months (365 days) ago, and
  • There has been no account activity for more than 6 months (180 days).

When accounts are inactive, they may become eligible for deletion. You will be able to reactivate your account by logging in.

We delete your account

Tryst is committed to keeping as little user data as possible. Many web services keep information for years, and it’s often difficult to know just how much of your data is still stored across the Internet.

If you haven’t used Tryst in a long time, we want you to feel confident that we don’t still have your data. Deleting inactive accounts allows us to permanently remove most of your data. We’ll keep billing data and support tickets where applicable, and be able to delete everything else.

Once your account has been marked as inactive, we will delete eligible account data within 90 days.
