How do I block someone from messaging me?

Sometimes you may need to stop a client from being able to message you, which you can do from the messaging interface in Tryst. This is a helpful way to mitigate abuse and harassment.

Tryst will automatically mute clients who send more than 3 messages in a row with no response from you to help prevent abuse.

Mute a conversation/block a user

  1. Log in to your Tryst account and go to Messages.
  2. Click on the conversation you want to open.
  3. Under the profile information for the current message sender, click on Mute and then confirm that you want to mute this user.

A user you have muted will not know you have muted them. Any new messages they send will not appear in your Message list or send you notification emails. The conversation won't be deleted so you can still access it if you need to for whatever reason in future by clicking the link in the notification email.

Reporting abuse

Tryst has a zero tolerance policy for abusive conduct from any user. If you want to report a conversation you have had with a client please raise a new request with screenshots of the conversation and any additional information you want to share with us.
